José David Rangel (born November 12, 1969 in San Luis Potosí) is a retired professional footballer from Mexico. He played as a midfielder during his career.
Rangel was a member of the Mexico national football team that competed at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain. He earned five caps for the national A-side, making his debut on January 24, 2001 in a friendly match against Bulgaria in Morelos (0-2 loss).
